City of CalgarySharon Goulet is a Red River Métis and member of the Métis Nation of Alberta. Sharon has lived in Calgary for the past 25 years, and has worked at the City of Calgary in Aboriginal Services for the past 18 years.

Presently, Sharon is a part-time social planner with Family & Community Support Services, and her work involves social planning, community development, research and advocacy on issues that concern the Aboriginal urban community. The other half of her time, Sharon works as an Aboriginal community development worker. Sharon completed her Masters degree in 2005, with a focus on Aboriginal leadership, and is currently thinking about pursuing her PhD, with a research interests in understanding Métis Identity.
