Kendra Nixon, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba. Her research interests include child exposure to intimate partner violence, mothering in the context of intimate partner violence, violence against women, child protection policy, social policy and qualitative research methodology. Kendra is also an academic involved with RESOLVE, a tri-prairie research institute on violence against women and family violence. Kendra is assisting with the policy component for the CIHR Voices against Violence Project.
